Xbox Is Ceasing Operations At Arkane Austin, Tango Gameworks, And Two Additional Development Teams
It may be time to let out that pent-up sigh for those eagerly awaiting new developments on Redfall since its troubled debut a year ago. Microsoft and Xbox have announced that they will be shuttering four distinctive studios, encompassing both Redfall's creator, Arkane Austin, and the team behind Hi-Fi Rush, Tango Gameworks.
Arkane Austin has confirmed this development on their online platforms, stating that Redfall's evolution has been halted. They've also indicated that anyone who has acquired the game's Hero Pass, the deluxe Bite Back Edition, or opted for the Bite Back upgrade can receive a reimbursement. In contrast, Arkane Lyon's status is stable, with plans to proceed with their forthcoming titles, including Marvel's Blade. Redfall's game servers will continue to operate for the foreseeable future, although the duration of this support is uncertain.
