At the recent CES 2026 event, Alienware introduced its high-performance Area-51 desktop computer. This model leads the market by featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, which currently stands as the fastest gaming processor available.

The desktop is engineered with an emphasis on positive airflow, accommodating a maximum 360mm AIO cooler, although its 80L chassis can also support a 420mm unit. These design choices address both performance and cooling efficiency.

Key technical aspects include a standard ATX motherboard built uniquely for this system, equipped with aluminum heatsinks and a 10+2+2 phase voltage regulation setup. The device operates on a modern 12V power standard and is available with either an 850W or 1500W power supply unit.

The case design features several standout elements:

• Seven distinct RGB lighting zones
• A steel-reinforced door featuring a tempered glass panel
• An external controller that manages lighting, fan speeds, and input/output functions

Additional interior space includes areas for 2x2.5-inch drives, 1x3.5-inch drive, and 3xM.2 storage units, along with caddies that accommodate storage solutions and fans equipped with removable dust filters.
