Roblox Is Coming on PlayStation

While it is a natural act for any company to hire new employees, the list of opened positions reveals Roblox plans. The company is searching for a senior software engineer on the PlayStation console. Before that, Roblox said numerous times that they want to bring the app to PS. Since the platform is highly popular around the world and on multiple platforms, it is only natural that they are thinking about the PlayStation extension.

According to the description of the position, it will help to support the game platform on the Sony PlayStation console. The new specialist will be a part of the developing team. Together they will build the new version of the app. Roblox company says that they need a person who will take part in building all app’s parts, starting from the target platform integration and up to the optimization of the total performance and creation of a user-friendly interface.

David Baszucki, the CEO of Roblox, said that the company’s priority is to make Roblox accessible for PlayStation, Oculus Quest, and Nintendo Switch. From a long-term perspective, it is the major target of Roblox. For now, according to Baszucki, Roblox continues to evolve on mobile platforms. The company wants to focus on the phones of the players and to make Roblox available for others no matter whether they are now.
